Good Afternoon,

Are there any good examples of using Telerik's Reportviewer control within a web page and remote mode?

I have a page where I have a ReportViewer control, a listbox with report names and a button to have it render the report. While I know how to set this up using the Microsoft ReportViewer control it has some problems with RadControls at times.

Any help would be appreciated if there are some walkthru's or examples of using the ReportViewer control in remote mode.

Thanks,

Chris

Hi Chris,

The telerik Reporting distribution is bundled with both Web and Windows Forms sample projects (in VB.NET and C#) that demonstrate the usage of the web and win viewers and most common report scenarios.

The demo applications start with a report selector that allows you to choose a report to display in the corresponding viewer.

I suggest you to use the web sample project as a reference how to discover the available reports and how to display them in the report viewer.

As we are still working on the reporting engine, for the official release we will add some more sample reports and different applications of the win and web viewers.

You can start the examples and the example projects from your Start menu -> Programs --> telerik --> Reporting.

Your feedback is welcome.
