so is Version Version 2008.3 1125 actually SP1 ?
do I have to have 2008.3 1105 installed before I install 2008.3.1125 ?

Yes, the version number of the Q3 2008 SP1 version of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX is 2008.3.1125 - the release history can be viewed on this page. It is not necessary to install the major release of the suite (2008.3.1105) prior to updating to the Q3 2008 SP1 version. Upgrade instructions are available here.
