- Visual Studio 2010 Beta 2 Support
RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX provide full support for Microsoft's Visual Studio 2010 Beta 2. Read more - Content Delivery Network (CDN) Support
Microsoft has recently launched Ajax CDN (Content Delivery Network) service that provides caching support for AJAX libraries. Telerik is again ahead of the game, being the first major component vendor to offer CDN support for its ASP.NET AJAX controls scripts and skins. The Telerik CDN is hosted on the Amazon CloudFront service. This is a global content delivery service with edge locations in the US, Europe and Asia. These edge location servers can be used to cache and deliver all types of content – including images, videos, CSS and JavaScript files. The main advantage of CDNs lies in caching information in key network points. Client requests are automatically redirected to the nearest server, as opposed to all clients accessing the same central web server. Thus CDN can greatly reduce loading times and enable browsers to more quickly retrieve and download content. The other benefit for developers is that Telerik covers the hosting expenses for the resources used in CDN supported applications. - Visual Style Builder
The Visual Style Builder now officially provides supports for all controls from Telerik’s AJAX toolset. The tool now enables easy, point-and-click customization of all skins and skin details. With the Colorization mode you can quickly and easily change the general skin color while in the fine-tune mode, all skin details can be modified, allowing you to adjust text fonts and sizes, margins and padding, and background to perfectly fit any application. With Q3 2009 release Telerik introduces an Automatic Upgrade Wizard to the latest RadControls version as part of the Visual Studio Extensions Package. The wizard performs automatic check for the latest available version when you open a new or existing Telerik project in Visual Studio.
