Hi Team,
I am able to download Kendo UI components for angular without logging to Kendo account and it works as expected
I have paid a subscription and even after logging I get the same repository to download the components.
My question is what is the difference between paid and unpaid packages.
Since I have already downloaded the packages without logging in, how should I use it?
Let me know the process for the users who have a paid subscription.

Kendo UI for Angular components are distributed via the public NPM registry and can be installed and used as described in the respective sections of our documentation:
https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/getting-started/#toc-project-setup
https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/components/grid/#toc-installation
https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/components/charts/#toc-installation
https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/components/dropdowns/#toc-installation
https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/components/inputs/#toc-installation ... etc. (each package has its own Installation section).
There are no separate "licensed" and "non-licensed" versions of the packages and logging to the privately scoped registry (or providing your license/credentials in some other manner or including it in the created Angular application(s)) is not required. On the contrary - the privately scoped Telerik/Progress NPM registry was retired in July 2017 and you should remove all references to this registry from the .npmrc and package-lock.json files (if such exist) to avoid the issues outlined in the following resources:
https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/components/troubleshooting/#toc-i-cannot-install-the-latest-versions-of-kendo-ui-packages-for-angular
https://github.com/telerik/kendo-angular/issues/712
The license enables you to legally use the Kendo UI for Angular components in your application(s) in accordance with the End User License Agreement, and our support service in accordance with the purchased support plan.
To sum up - all packages are publicly available via NPM, and there are no different "paid" and "non-paid" versions of the packages. The process for installing and using the packages is described in the "Installation" section of each package's documentation (like the ones linked above).
I hope this helps, but if you have any further questions do not hesitate to contact us again.

Hi Team,
I have downloaded Angular Data Grid Component which is part of Kendo UI for Angular from public NPM registry.
I don't recall on the steps I followed when I installed using npm i @progress/kendo-angular-grid@3.14.4. And its been over 6 months. I can still use the grid component with out any issues.
How do I know if I have installed trial version or the licensed version ?
If there is no difference between "licensed" and "non-licensed" versions, how do I make sure that I have licensed version for long-term use.
Please guide me, I am so confuse about this.
Hi Trushar,
There are no separate license and trial versions of our packages. The purchased license gives developers the opportunity to legally use our components in their applications in accordance with the End User License Agreement, and to benefit from our support system as per the purchased support plan for the period of the license:
https://www.telerik.com/purchase/kendo-ui
https://www.telerik.com/purchase/license-agreements
https://www.telerik.com/purchase/support-plans
Currently, the only requirement for using the current versions of our packages is to have a valid license that includes Kendo UI for Angular. In the future we may introduce some mechanic for integrating a license key that verifies the developer in the application, but we will communicate this and all required steps accordingly when the time comes, and the change will affect future versions of the packages only.
