I know this library is created for ExtJs but would anything in those libraries clash with KendoUI?

Even better if Telerik produced something similar of course but I realise it is just wishful thinking on my part.

Let's say I need to use a widget that is not available as part of Kendo's offering:

Q1: Can I use a third party jQuery widget, like a "Rating" widget and do the data binding with Kendo Datasource?

Q2: If yes, how can we implement Kendo's theme with third party widgets so all widgets on the page look uniform?

Hi all, we're getting ready to start heavy development on a new project.

Our backend is going to be SQL Server with Entity Framework and MVC 4.5.

Any guidance on using Kendo with the asp.net web api etc?

We were evaluating kendoui.mobile.2012.1.322.trial version for mobile applications.

We finished few pages for iPhone/iPad and all worked great in iPhone/iPad.

But when we tried to view these pages in Android based tablet, we found following issues which we could not fix.

Any help to fix these issues would be greatly appreciated.

 1. We have a page that contains 4 dropdowns below each other. when we tap first dropdown, it pops up a list for fourth dropdown and selection changed is applied in fourth dropdown. second, third and fourth dropdwn could not be tapped.
 We tried to open a Telerik KendoUI sample page in android tablet and found similar behaviour for it as well.

 2. we have a header row which is usually displayed at top in iPhone/iPad and is visible in bottom in Android Tablet.
 if we ahve few number of records on the screen that means we do not require a scroll on the page, this header row is visible properly. Hoever if we number of records are more and scrolling is required to view all the records, this Header row is not visible on the screen anywhere.

We have tried downloading and integrating latest beta version kendoui.mobile.2012.1.515.trial, but it resulted in distorted UI for iPhone and iPad. Android issue is not fixed as well.

Can anyone help in fixing these issues?

Hi 

I've a sample linear gauge attached file with a problem encountered.

My problem is the scaling  number of gauge.

The number scaling.

1. Ph = scaling gauge number start 4  to 14 is the result is not looking good. 
2. ORP = scaling gauge number start 100 to 600 is the result, also not looking good. 

I want to use this linear gauge, like a Aqua gauge.

Hi,

When adding validation markup to an input and using the input as a Kendo Widget, for example a dropdownlist, the input is hidden in favour of the kendo UI elements.

The problem is that jQuery validation then doesn't work as it ignores any hidden inputs.

Is there any way to force Kendo to keep the input visible but move it off screen so that validation will still work?
