or any other telerik control for doing the same.
and one more, want to use tab index in grid by default vertically not a horizantally in spreadsheet grid.

Hello,
Using RadGrid as spread sheet control would require a lot of custom coding and we do not have a ready example that illustrates a possible realization. However you can examine this code library which illustrates how you can create an Excel like grid:

Have in mind that you can modify the sample's tabbing functionality according to your needs.
