I have a page with a radTab and a radGrid. The user selects a row from the grid (Ajax updages the selection) then the user selects a button to open the radWindow.

The window opens fine, loads another radGrid. If the user closes the radWindow, the main page loses all focus (radTab and grid do not respond), the only thing that works on the page is a link to log out.

Any suggestions?

My requirement is to create a grid where certain rows need to have the expand collapse feature but the rest of the rows don't, as they do not have child data associated with them.

Requirement screen shot attached.

Thus only a few rows (with child data associated with them) need to have expand collapse feature, not all. This conditional check would need to occur after data is fetched from the DB.
How do i accomplish this.
My implementation is similar to this demo: http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet/Grid/Examples/Programming/DetailTableDataBind/DefaultCS.aspx

Also i need to hide the header from the child table(DetailTableView). how can i do that.

Hello.  Sorry if this is a novice question as I'm totally new to Telerik and fairly new to C# .net.

Is it possible to specify AM/PM for each weekday in the 'Recurrence:' section of a scheduled item in the Telerik Calendar when Editing the series or on creating a new appointment?  When pushing on the option button of 'Weekly' the 7 days of the week are visible and was wondering if it was possible to select a mixed combination down to an AM/PM (or time range) level for each individual weekday?  For example: every [Mon only AM (or specific time range), Wed only PM (or specific time range), Thu both AM & PM (or specific time range)] as a recurrence rule?  I don't see an AM/PM  (or specific weekday time range) option being listed so I don't think it's possible via Telerik or is even the logic of doing this not possible?  I also don't see an option or feature for this in MS Outlook as a similar comparison?

Also when clicking on the 'End by this date:' option button an error message comes up as [Microsoft Visual Studio] [htmlfile: Can't move focus to the control because it is invisible, not enabled, or of a type that does not accept the focus.].

I need to enable/diable editor inside a tab based upon the checkbox in the same tab. How I recognise the checkbox and the editor controls. I try to use $find and receive error. Please advice

Is there a way to set the menu scroll speed so it scrolls twice as fast as it does normally?

I'm using a menu as a query selector for my end users. Each menu item covers a search topic. The popout panel is databound to a query that displays a checkbox list. The users can check whatever entries they want in the query and then move to the next menu item. When done they click the button that builds the strings of selections and passes this to a stored procedure that populates the grids.

Example:

County
   - Item 1 (select)
   - Item 2 (select)
   - etc.

Classification
   - Item A (select)
   - Item B (select)
   - etc.

The county panel works fine since I was able to turn on 2 columns and everything displays on one panel. The classification has long text, so I can't turn on more than 1 column. The list won't fit onto a single screen and is generally about 8 times longer than one screen. The standard scroll speed is slow. If you click on the menu arrow it speeds up but is still slow. Being able to make it scroll faster would be really helpful.

If there is no property to do so, could this be added in the future?

I am using a series of checkboxes, all with the same ID.  When using a form decorator, the checkboxes will not check.

From what I can ascertain based on demos and other forum posts, the form decorator is designed to work with a CheckBoxList control where labels are specified for each checkbox.  Unfortunately, this is not an option for me.

Is there a fix for this, or do I simply need to add ControlsToSkip="Checkbox" and not decorate my checkboxes?

I have a RadGrid that containes a list of products that will be posted to a database.  I have also added the delete comand that removes a reow from the grid, PERFECT, now what I need to do is when I click the delete button I would like to get the value of the "lineTotal" cell so that I can remove it form the document total.

I have hierarchical Grid with two details tables at the same level. Everything works OK. But I need to select only one detail at a time. Is there any possibilty how to make more expand buttons, each for only one detail table?

I recently submitted a forum post asking how I could set images on my menu items via CSS (using sprites):

The recommended solution did work, the only downside being that, in order to make it work, I had to assign an ImageUrl that pointed to a clear gif image on every menu item (without an ImageUrl the img tag isn't even rendered). This is inconvenient, but at least it does work and allows me to have a single sprite image for all of my menus and context menus.

I now want to achieve the same effect with my tree nodes. Rather than assigning a different image to each node via the ImageUrl property, I want to have a single sprite image. The problem is that when I set the CssClass on each node, it ends up being applied to the span tag surrounding the text of the node, instead of the div tag that surrounds the text and the image of the node as I would've expected. Given this, I now do not know/if I can achieve the result I desire.

I love where Telerik has gone w/ the sprite approach, and the performance benefits that developers can gain from it, but it seems that your support for it is not quite complete in your control set. As I recommended in my other forum post, I think that the RadMenuItem and RadTreeNode objects should have ImageCssClass properties to make it easy for us to consolidate all of our images for our RadMenus and RadTreeViews into a single sprite image.

Please let me know if you have a recommended workaround for doing sprite-based RadTreeView images.
