Disable submit untill dropdown is closed.

Hi,

i've got a RadGrid on page,

the edit template contains radcombobox with AutoPostBack=true and AllowCustomText=true (need to autofill some fields based on selection)

and Save button,

when you open Radcombobox , type in some text move mouse over Save button (radcombobox is still expanded) and click Save,

instead of save button event combobox SelectedIndexChanged event is fired.

what will be the best solution to prevent such behaviour ?

[Solved] Expand/Collapse all nodes in Q3

Hi!!

I was trying to expand/collapse all nodes client side and I saw this page teaching with a very simple code:

I was very happy but when I tested it, didn't work. I guess it's because I'm using Q3 and not prometheus. Now, I have three questions:

1. Is there a easy way to do the same with Q3?
2. How can I know, when exploring telerik web page, that I'm at a prometheus help article and not at Q3, since I haven't see any description about it in the page?
3. Where can I find help pages just for Q3?

We still doesn't have the prometheus version here (we depends from the directors to buy), but we have the beta version files here, so we could find that the method get_allNodes() was from Prometheus, analysing the script files.

Auto resized columns

We have a grid with many dynamic added columns which are fixed width.

When user resizes or sorts a column, all columns are auto resized.

How to stop this behavior?

How to run some codes before closing aspx that is opened by RadWindowManager-

Just before closing aspx (that is opened using RadWindowManager) from X , I need to do some check outs in code behind of the same aspx( some sums and some bool controls). If all check outs are passed i wantto close the aspx from X, otherwise i wantto alert and not close the window.

How can i do that?

Thickbox and Scheduler

I have the scheduler wokring well and i have a link to access a bigger verison of the scheduler using thickbox, which again works well. The only problem i have is that the Header part of the scheduler is visible over the popup thickbox...is there a way to correct this? does the header styles have a default CSS?

Problems with RTL

I think there is a problem with the File Explorer when the containing body's direction is set to RTL.

I am using Web20 skin for the FileExplorer inside this page. I want the FileExplorer to have an LTR instead of the page's RTL. No matter what I do, I cannot get this to work!

If I add (dir=ltr) in the control, it will make things worse. The same thing happens if I put the control inside a div and set the div's direction to ltr.

There is even another problem; if I don't change the FileExpolorer to LTR and stick to RTL, the Icons next to the file names (in the file panel) is not adjacent to the text as it should be, but it is rather on the opposite direction close to the size coloumn.

Any ideas?

Spell Checker erroring with - Invalid character in a Base-64 string

My site is getting intermittent errors from the spell checker with the message "Invalid character in a Base-64 string". Any hints? Below is a trace of the error.

Appointment Template DataBound

I want to have a customized appointment template based on the data. I can hide/display some controls based on the data. Now, in existing telerik control model, AppointmentCreated() event allows .Container Property but there is no data there. AppointmentDataBound() has data set in its properties but there is no Container there.

Not only that, if I want to get the DataItem - that is currently being bound and FindControl() during DataBound() event - it would be perfect implementation of this control. IF you know how to do this pl. let me know.

2) How do I customize the time ("8:00 AM") displayed in time column? Can I print 800 like in outlook for this?
