I have a RadDatePicker on one of my pages.(I have another DatePicker inside the template column of a grid and I see the same issue there)

The initial datepickerimage loads fine.
But the popup calendar does not have a background image and the numbers get mixed up with the other controls behind it.
I am not using a custom skin for DatePicker.

Please help.

I am using a combo box exactly like in my other pages, but for some reason, the items in the combo box have a very tiny height. The height of the overall combobox is fine, but when I expand it, the items below are all squished together with a very small individual height. I'm not sure what is causing this, as I have used the combobox in many other pages without this problem.

<table width="100%" style="margin-bottom:5px;padding:10px 15px 15px 15px" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="4">

<tr>

<td colspan="2">

<asp:Label CssClass="NormalRed" ID="DisplayMessage" runat="server" /></td></tr>

<tr>

<td bgcolor="#FFFFFF" style="padding:10px 15px 15px 15px" colspan="2">

<img src="../images/2008_game_schedules.gif" style="margin-bottom:10px" alt=""/>

<br/>

<asp:label CssClass="Normal" ID="lblSeasonName" runat="server" />

<img src="../images/spacer.gif" width="1" height="10" alt=""/></td></tr>

<tr>

<td class="Normal" style="padding-left:15px; width:15%">League</td>

<td class="Normal">

<telerik:RadComboBox AutoPostBack="true" TabIndex="1" Skin="WebBlue" ID="cmbLeague" Width="150px" runat="server" MarkFirstMatch="true" AllowCustomText="false" ShowDropDownOnTextboxClick="true"/></td></tr>

Thanks,
Susan

I have a problem with the RadScheduler.  I have hooked up a RadToolTipManager to the appointments on my Scheduler.  If I have more than 2 appointments in one day and I switch to DayView for that day, the RadToolTipManager will not fire for the appointments that were not listed in the MonthView.  I have an function (below) which fires and adds targetcontrols dynamically based on what is in the Scheduler.  What's happening is that while this adds the appointments listed in the MonthView of the Scheduler to the targetcontrols, the RadToolTipManager doesn't show a modal tool tip for all other appointments not listed in the MonthView of the Scheduler.  It's not until a postback occurs that the appointment shows a modal tool tip window from RadToolTipManager.

I want to have the RadToolTipManager show a tooltip for all appointments for everyday in the Scheduler, not just the first two.  How do I do that?

Thanks,
David

protected void RadScheduler1_AppointmentCreated(object sender, AppointmentCreatedEventArgs e)

{

if (blnAllowScheduleAccess == false)

{

//if (e.Appointment.Visible && IsAppointmentRegisteredForTooltip(e.Appointment) == false)

if (IsAppointmentRegisteredForTooltip(e.Appointment) == false)

{

RadToolTipManager1.TargetControls.Add(e.Appointment.ClientID,

true);

}

}

}

I'm converting a page from Q2-2007 to AJAX Q1-2008 and I'm having an issue with the RadPanelBar.  I'm adding RadPanelItems to the control programmatically, setting each NavigateURL in the code-behind.  When the control is rendered onto the page, the correct urls are displayed when you hover over the item.  However, clicking on them doesn't do anything.  Are they disabled by default or is something else going on here?

This issue occurs with the Telerik 2007.3.1425.35

I've tied a javascript function to the Grid  OnRowSelecting client side event.
 with the following script code.

The alert fires and displays the message, but the set_cancel fails with no method set_cancel on the eventArgs object.

<script type="text/javascript" language="javascript">
    function RowSelecting(sender, eventArgs)
    {
        alert("Cancelling the Row Select!");
        eventArgs.set_cancel(true); //cancel event
    }
    </script>

hi all,
we are considering purchasing the Telerik controls for use in a fairly adavanced project we have upcoming.  I just have a couple quick questions i would like answered before i go ahead with a purchase:

The EDITOR:
is it possible to create a new button which would allow me to use a custom server side control in a WYSIWYG editor?  For example we will be allowing "non-tech" users to create small html units to put on a site.  However all the links they will put in need to be trackable.  so i want to create a button that will put in a custom tag or control i create in the editor.  So that when its rendered on the page any hyperlink is actually a server side control that performs some database tracking before redirecting the user to the destination

THE IMAGE MANAGER:
we are kind of going for a cms "like" interface for the admin utility.  basically going from templated "fill in fields" kind of thing to enabling users to have a freeform html area they can do anything in.  We need a central image repository for them to utilize and on the admin side they need to be able to upload images to this repo, then select them for use in their new html editor.  Obviouslly once the site is published we need to be able to use these same images on the rendered pages, is this image manager built for something like this?

thats about it for now,
thanks in advance,
mcm

In the above sample the "Photo" tab is disabled.  In the VS 2008 designer it appears (disabled) grayed out.  However it does not  appear grayed out at run time. It is disabled (You cannot click it), but does not render correctly.  I tired several skins to no avail.

Here is a neat and somewhat obscure bug for you, courtesy of our intrepid QAs.
Preparation:

Open up IE7.  Go to Tools->Internet Options->Tabs Settings and select 'When a popup is encountered always open popups in a new tab'

Next, you are going to need two aspx pages, one of which (TestPopup.aspx) opens the second (Popup.aspx) as a popup using client-side javascript (window.open()).  Popup.aspx should have an asp:button that calls window.close().  Make sure that the button is inside of a RadAjaxPanel.

Repro:

1. Open your browser and go to TestPopup.aspx.  Popup.aspx should open in a new tab.
2. Close popup.aspx using the asp:button that calls window.close.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2.

Expected: things should work normally

Actual: you will no longer be able to navigate to any page on your webserver.  You will still be able to navigate to pages at outside URLs but all links to the server you ran the popups on will not work until you reset IE7.  You can still navigate to links from other browsers or computers normally.

Strange, eh? I can provide the source code if you want.
