RadWindow - InitialBehaviour not working

Hi,

I'm using the RadWindows however when I try to set up an intialBehaviour so that the window starts off pinned when opened it doesn't work.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Vertical Scroll Bars

When I add a set width of 250px to the RadTreeView and I reach a node where the treeview has to scroll then the vertical scroll bars are also appearing. How do I make it so that only the horizontal scroll bars appear?

[Solved] How to display the selected file clientside before upload ?

Hello,

I would appreciate some help in writing the javascript to use displaying an image selected by browsing before firing the upload to server.
As new client even have been created, may be someone has already exploited this new feature ?

I got this funny error when i implementing tree view on my web page. I used firebug on my browser and showing:

LastActiveRadTreeView.l7 is not a function

What is that mean?

Javascript doesn't load when other tabs are selected.

We are using the TabStrip with 5 tabs. We load the tabs On-Demand. Everything loads correctly except the javascript doesn't seem to be working. Since the tabs are loaded dynamically, we cannot view source to see what is wrong with the javascript. But that same javascript moved into a page that is not dynamically loaded works just fine. This leads me to believe that the tabstrip is not writing the javascript properly.

Could you please advise?

Collapse on directory change?

Hello telerik, we currently have Rad PanelBar Q2 2007 deployed via master page with PersistStateInCookie="true". We need the ability to reset the cookie/delete/etc when a user leaves a directory on the site for another.

If user is here:

www.site.com/dir1

and clicks a link taking them to:

www.site.com/dir2

we would like to fully collapse our panelbar but keep the persistence state active while they're in the current section and handle it via code-behind.

We found and have deployed this(http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/thread/b311D-mbtca.aspx) using the example via Javascript added via onload event. It works, but we're trying to avoid the collapse animation that happens when the page is loaded, rather, only show a fully collapsed menu immediately from refresh.

Does this make sense? and thank you!

Setting focus to a control within a tabstrip, multipanel with ajax

Hi,

I have reviewed several other posts and tech notes related to setting the focus to a control with in a tab strip. I am using Q3 (not Promethius) and have a tabstrip with a multipage and several page views. All of these get updated via AjaxManager on a button click.

What I would like is for a specific input (radInput) to have the focus, but no matter what I do, using either client side or server side calls, this does not occur. Has anyone run into this and if so, and clues as to how to make it work? Thanks in advance.

custom advanced template and timepicker

Hi,
I have a custom advanced form currently working fine. i want the users to pick time (instead of entering time) on this form. so i put in timepicker instead of dateinput on scheduledefaultform.ascx. the problem is since i have configured it for 15 minute time interval, timepicker just goes out of the form. so i want to implement scrolling. i saw the post on how to make timepicker scroll, but since this is an advanced template (i have implemented it from the demos), i am unsure as to how to implement scrolling.
I will appreciate a quick response.

TextBox - Multi Line property

Hi all,
i got a problem with a text, each time i set the TextMode to MultiLine or Password nothing gets written when i load text into the textbox from a database.
I can write to the textbox with the correct format but once i want to load from the db. nothing gets written to it.
Does anyone know whats wrong my control

[Solved] Client Side Selecting All Rows From

Hi

I downloaded the latest trial version 2008 q2 and it looks excellent.
Is there a way for me to select all rows ( client side ) from an asp button ..

scenario..
there is a button named "Select All Rows Displayed"

and den clickin dat checks da checkboxes of all the rows...

( this can be done by da header checkbox .. bt is it possible via a button )
