Do you use Telerik Tools? Please Vote in the DevProConnections Awards

My employer, Telerik, is once again competing for a bevy awards in the DevProConnections competition.  We are competing in 20 (yes, I mean twenty) categories, so there’s many places where you can show your love! To find out more about the competition you can read this great post on Telerik Blogs. I was a consumer of Telerik tooling long before I became an employee, and am still amazed by the level of responsiveness that the product teams have to feedback that I illicit from the community (both in person and online). Happy Coding!...

Next up saw North Colorado .NET Users Group, headed up by Jeff Certain, also...

A Whole Lot Of Learning At the CINNUG Web Development FireStarter

This past Saturday, the Cincinnati .NET Users Group (CINNUG) hosted another FireStarter, this one on Web Development.  Never been to a FireStarter?  The FireStarter concept is designed to light a fire under developers who are beginners or novices at a certain technology.  This one, hosted at the Cincinnati Microsoft office, focused on Web Development. We started the day with the “Battle of the 5s” – Silverlight 5 (by Bill Steele) and HTML 5 (by Brian Carter) gave really good perspectives on certainly the most discussed topic of the day (in light of the Windows 8 announcements). Over lunch we held a panel...
