Wait no more and check out what’s included in the just-released version of Telerik Reporting in Q3 2014. I’ll give you the quick links to do so, but before that, let’s have a quick look.

What’s New

This release is marked by a few features and enhancements that have been requested for quite some time and will help you build reports faster.

A few versions after its first launch, the Standalone Report Designer now has a Query Builder for building select statements just as in Visual Studio. With a few clicks in the wizard you can select the tables, data fields, etc., execute the query and make sure that you are binding the report to the proper data.

Two other features were highly requested and awaited. One of them is the WPF, Silverlight, WinForms and ASP.NET Report Viewers, which now have consistent and comprehensive public API, with plenty of new events, methods and properties to give the control in your hands. The other, is the TextBox report item, which now has the so desired justify text alignment option.

And that’s not all! We have introduced a few data visualization improvements that I’ll leave to you to explore.
