    Telerik WP7 suite future preview - Charts, Virtualizing Collection and Calendar

    We decided that for the MIX11 conference we will show some of the internal things that we are working on for Windows Phone 7. If you want to see the *new* controls in action - come visit our booth on MIX - we are exhibiting at "The Commons" hall. So what we are working on for our next release? For Q2 release (coming in ~July.2011) we will have the following new WP7 controls: Charting Line chart, Area chart, Bar chart, Pie chart See a video of how the charts are displayed in the emulator .

    Tired of enabling installer packages with User Account Control turned on? Miss the right-click & Run as Administrator command on MSI files? Want to easily run each installer with logging enabled? At least I was. Here is a quick way to add a Run As Administrator With Log command to msi files (inspired by David Ebbo’s post ): All we need is modify the MSI.Package class definition in the registry.     Make Your Own Live Tiles with RadControls for Windows Phone 7

    Without a doubt one of the coolest features of the Windows Phone 7 (WP7) platform sits on the home screen in the form of Live Tiles.  For those with lesser mobile operating systems, a Live Tile is a large icon that represents your application on the home screen of a WP7 device that allows for live updates.  Examples of these are seeing Facebook updates pop in for a pinned person on your phone, weather alerts popping up in WeatherBug, or something as simple as your Exchange email rolling up the numbers as new emails come in.  To give an example,...
