The last release of Telerik’s UI suite for WPF featured a beta version of a Syntax Editor—a powerful text editor with built-in highlighting and code editing capabilities for popular languages. With the first release of the new year, we will be shipping the official version of the control with new, awesome features—an out-of-the-box support for touch gestures, new VB and XML language folding tagger, improvements in the C# tagger, flexible folding customizations and improved find and teleprompt! Recently, Microsoft introduced support for toolbox when using .NET Core in WPF project. For the time being, toolbox is only being supported when nuget references are used. We are happy to share that R1 2020 of Telerik UI for WPF ships a toolbox support for WPF .NET Core projects when using the Telerik Nuget packages, so you can continue to have the rapid application development while being on the latest tech stack.
Windows 10 brought per monitor DPI setting and in this release, we made sure that high DPI support is a first class citizen in the WPF Docking control.
Telerik’s File Dialogs for WPF come with a new feature which equips users with the ability to easily show/hide the context menus, such as “New Folder” or “Properties”.
