What's New R3 2019

Official support for .NET Core 3.0 official release

As a leading provider for ASP.NET Core components our goal is to be fully compatible shortly after the official ASP.NET Core 3.0 official release in September 2019. Along the way we will continue to provide preview compatibility with ASP.NET Core 3.1.

Grid Grouping

The first (and most popular) component to join the Telerik UI for Blazor suite was our Grid. This release we decided to enhance this component's offering by introducing a configurable option to provide grouping of data. It is as simple as dragging and dropping grid columns headers into a grouping panel. Check it out!

Hierarchical Grid

Another addition to the Grid component for this release was adding capability to visualize hierarchical sets of data in your Blazor apps, or quickly create an N-level hierarchical data by specifying master-detail templates. In simpler words - we added a Hierarchical Grid!

Grid Single/Multiple Selection (via checkbox column)

Continuing with the Grid enhancements, we expanded our built-in selection to include checkbox for single, multiple, or all items in a Grid.This new addition will enable you to have access to the selected data through its API.

Display the data that matters with the new Filter menu on the Grid component which lets users filter any items irrelevant to them. Use various built-in predicates like 'equal', 'less than' and so on. As you can see, we focused quite a bit on the Telerik UI for Blazor Grid component to make it as optimal for use as possible.

The new Menu component will enable your applications to have stylish navigation. You will be able to use custom templates and set the direction and orientation of the menu component to be horizontal or vertical.

TreeView component

Another great addition to the our Telerik UI for Blazor is the TreeView component. It is a great control for both navigation and data visualization, representing hierarchical structure with ease and good performance. Our TreeView component supports data binding, URL navigation, lazy loading and templates.

DateTimePicker Component

Choosing date and time is a very common task in UI, so we are working towards building a component that will enable your end users to effortlessly select and edit dates and times in your Blazor applications.
