ECIBase

Class

Provides the base abstraction for Extended Channel Interpretation (ECI) encoders used by the QR Code engine when Byte data is emitted with a specific Modes.ECIMode. A derived class supplies a 1:1 ordered mapping between supported Unicode code points (UnicodeValues) and the corresponding single–byte values (EncodedValues) for its code page.

Properties

Gets or sets the ordered list of single‑byte code page values (uppercase 2‑digit hex, e.g. "C0") that correspond positionally to UnicodeValues. During encoding, a character is located in UnicodeValues and the byte at the same index from this collection is emitted (then converted to its 8‑bit binary form). Example: if UnicodeValues[150] == "0410" then EncodedValues[150] might be "C0".

C#
public List<string> EncodedValues { get; set; }
Property Value:

A list of 2‑digit hexadecimal byte strings aligned with UnicodeValues.

Gets or sets the ordered list of supported Unicode code points (uppercase 4‑digit hex, e.g. "0410" for Cyrillic capital A) that this ECI encoder can translate into single‑byte values. The index of each entry aligns with the same index in EncodedValues to form the mapping used during QR data generation. Example: index 0 -> "0000", index 150 -> "0410".

C#
public List<string> UnicodeValues { get; set; }
Property Value:

A list of 4‑digit hexadecimal Unicode strings. Must remain index‑aligned with EncodedValues.
