It would be nice if the Skin for a Grid include a style specifically for frozen columns.

Sure, what I was thinking of was giving the user some indication of where the frozen columns were, by, say, giving them a different background colour, or, like Excel does, giving the right-most border a thicker edge.

Ideally, the 'default' style would be something in keeping with the general style of the skin.

Does that make sense?
