I just downloaded the latest hotfix release and it contains a new scripts folder, where should this folder locate within an application?

And how shall I update the skins?

It's not clear which folders and files are actually needed for prometheus. At the beginning, only the dll were needed, and now slowly the skins and scripts folders are coming, but it's not clear how they should be updated. It was clear with the ASP .NET version, because there is always a folder radcontrol contains all of those.

Kindly clarify.
thanks -- Bidan

Hi Bidan,

By default, RadControls "Prometheus" read all skin and script files from the Telerik.Web.UI.dll file and the controls can work without these external resources. However, if you want to make some modification/customizations in the controls' scripts / skins then you can disable the embedded resources and use the provided external Scripts and Skins folders in the RadControls "Prometheus" (for example: Telerik.Web.UI_2007_3_1425_dev_hotfix.zip) installation.

You can find more detailed information in the following help article: Disabling embedded resources.

If you want to use the spellchecker with RadEditor or as a standalone control, you should copy the App_Data folder from the installation to the root of your project. If you want to use the French and / or German localizations of RadEditor then you need to copy the App_GlobalResources folder in the root of your web application too.

Let me know if you encounter any problems.
