Hi ,
I got an issue while adding reusable content in RadEditor for sharepoint
If we insert the reusable content (which has Automatic update =yes) and check- in the page (you are at Design mode), the Rad Editor remove the reusable content automatically. But if you insert the reusable content and you are at HTML Mode of editor and doing the page checked in it doesn’t remove the reusable content. Also if the Automatic Update =No in the content then there is on issue in RadEditor.
if anybody has faced the same issue, please let me know the resolution ?
Thanks a lot
Rajesh Soni

Hi Rajesh,
In the latest release of RadEditor for MOSS (5.8.4) there was a bug fix regarding the reusable content functionality. Please upgrade to this version. You can find the instructions in the following online help article: Upgrading to a newer version of RadEditor for MOSS
If you experience the problem after the upgrade, send me the web.config file of your MOSS site and the ConfigFile.xml, ToolsFile.xml, MOSSEditorTools.js files, which are located in the /Program Files/Common Files/Microsoft Shared/web server extensions/wpresources/RadEditorSharePoint/5.8.4.0__1f131a624888eeed/Resources/ folder. I will review them and advise you further.

Hello,
We've got this problem AFTER installing 5.8.4.0. With version 5.8.0.0 everything worked as excepted.
If I don't use our configfile.xml, toolsfile.xml and no customizations in the js-file, thus all default files, if still get the problem as mentioned. This is very annoying!

Hi
I have installed a RadEditorMOSS.wsp version 5.8.6.0. But here i don't find any way to add reusable content in the editor which was present in earlier versions.
Please reply soon.

Hi,
I got the MOSSTemplateManager tool. But the reusable content issue still exist with the latest version of RadEditorMoss 5.8.6.0. In which version it is solved? can you give me .wsp file for same.

Hi shrikant,
Could you confirm that this is your problem: "But here i don't find any way to add reusable content in the editor" - If this is the case I will need your ToolsFile.xml, which is located in the /Program Files/Common Files/Microsoft Shared/web server extensions/wpresources/RadEditorSharePoint/5.x.x.0__1f131a624888eeed/Resources/ folder. I will check it and advise you further.

Hi Stanimir
Add the same entry
in ListToolsFile.xml and AccessibleToolsFile.xml. You will get that in Editor.
Thanks,
Shrikant.
