I have a tooltip in a user control... and there is a form in it...
The textboxes are standard... with a watermark extender... and a validation callout extender...

when the validator extender comes up.. (required field etc...) the bubble is a little broke up...(the little arrow part)

this only happens inside of the tooltip...

the form can be on the same page as the contact form.. (which has the same set up.. just not in the tooltip) and the bubbles for the validator extenders show properly..

http://giovanniscoalfirepizza.com/contact

hover over the word Specials on the left side of the black header.... to see this behavior.

How to fix the bubble is my question...

thanks,

Jeff

Hello Jeff,

I was able to observer the problem on the provided live URL. I prepared a similar test project but I was not able to reproduce the problem there - please examine the attached demo.

I assume that most probably the problem comes from CSS styles which get overridden but in order to be able to help I need to examine the code locally.

Would you please open a new support ticket and send me a small reproduction project or modify mine in order to reproduce the problem? Once I receive it, I will do my best to help.

Your example worked fine... the bubble appears as it is supposed to.

I will have to create a sample project, However, I use nettiers to create my projects... so they are rather large (7 projects in the solution)

There is a built in css.. it actually uses themes, but I turn that off in the webconfig....

Perhaps I can just set  you up an account and you can remote into the project?

Please advise,

jeff

Hi sircutbreaker,

I suggest to use the IEDevToolBar or Firebug tools in order to examine the applied CSS styles.

What I suggest is to delete all of them in the tool one by one until you find the one which causes the wrong appearance? Please, note that you should delete the <link> tags only in the tool, not in your original project. You also should not delete the Telerik's styles.

After you have located the CSS which causes the problem, please try to prepare a reproduction project based on this CSS. In case your problem persists or you cannot reproduce the problem, please provide a more detailed explanation of the offered account and how it will help examine the project - you will have to open a support ticket for that to avoid exposing private information.

All the best,
Svetlina
