Validation in MulitPages using a TabStrip

I have a series of pages (forms) that use the tabstrip to seperate sections into easy chunks.  There is a global Save button that sits outside the tabbed area.

My question is, how can I achieve one (or more) of the following when there is an invalid (required) field on another tab.

1. Highlight the tab related to the pageview on which the error occurs (turn it's label red and/or bold).
2. Jump straight the the error by automatically switching tabs and focus on the errored field.
3. Provide a link in the validation summary that will change tabs and focus on the errored field.

I am happy with the tab strip, but need to make the validation a bit more usuable.
