the upload managers -- file manager and document manager -- don't work in internet explorer 8.
I just updated to rc 1, but it didn't work in beta 2 either.
You can verify by going to http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/editor/examples/default/defaultcs.aspx and click on image or document manager. There is nothing there. There should be icons, folder, and the possibility to upload.

Thank you for reporting this problem.
We are aware of it and it is already logged in our bug tracking system for fixing.
On aside note, as it is explicitly stated on our Browser Support page we do not officially support browsers in beta stage. Nevertheless, we will do our best to fix the issue shortly after the official release of IE8.
