I was been using telerik Controls for ASP.net so far. and a lable was showing saying that ‘ you are using trail version …..’ But now my company has bought ‘telerik controls for asp .net ajax 2009’.

So now I want to upgrade rad controls to this version  (I know the steps and no problem) Now suppose I don’t want to use any new feature of a control. (For example rad tab strip and multi page and page view, but my company has bought the whole controls ) and thus I did not upgraded this to ‘telerik controls for asp .net ajax 2009’.My question is that If I did not upgrade a control ,will this be showing the message ‘you are using trail version …..’, even after i have a license of the newer version?

Hello PureRamu,

First off, if is not quite clear which version of the controls do you currently use - RadControls for ASP.NET 'Classic' or RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX? Please have in mind that these are two different product suites and controls from both in a project (as the controls will be in separate assemblies with different names).

I was being using ASP.NET 'Classic'
but I purchased  RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX(because it has better look and feel  for me)
and now  upgraded to  purchased  Ajax version.

BUT i don't like to up grade  few control( rad tab strip ,multi page, page view).
So will this control show the trial message?

Hi PureRamu,

Yes, these controls will still show the random trial warning message, unless you upgrade the trial assemblies with the dev / licensed assemblies. Please refer to this help article for details on the matter.
