I have been a Telerik subscriber for a while now and have recently upgraded my VS.NET application from 2005 to 2008 and the frameworks from 2.0 to 3.5 and therefore loaded the latest version of the RadControls for the ASP.NET into this. I have also loaded the Hotfix as per the Knowledge base instructions to change from trial to my licensed copy. I have done this twice now. Everytime i think i have it fixed, all of a sudden the trial message reappears in my application. I want to load my app into production tonight and this is leaving me unsure to do so.
How can I be absolutely sure this is taken care of correctly (e.g. a registry entry, etc...), anyone have some advice.
Thank you

Hello Scott,
I recommend you examine the following links, where the neccessary information is available:
Upgrading RadControls Trial to RadControls Developer license
Updating RadControls for ASP.NET to another version or license

I have already been in these articles, but the directions do not follow your site all that well, so I did my best. I do get to a page under my Account where it has the headings (General / Downloads / Developers / Billing Info). I go into Downloads to download the DLL/Scripts since the Developer tab will not allow me to download anything since I already have my copy loaded. Is this correct? I am following the directions, but I still seem to get to the same problem.

Hello Scott,
For your convenience I attached a screenshot illustrating the path to the requested files.
DLL and scripts only
Basically you need to copy the dll files to your bin folder and replace any trial controls residing in GAC. Let us know if you have any difficulties.

Thank you Daniel,
Your picture guide confirms what I had originally completed and then did again. Therefore it should work. How can I confirm that what I have loaded is 100% correct and will no longer display the trial message? So far I have been testing my application regularly as before and don't know how long it will take to trigger the message again or not at all. Thoughts?

I did walk through the entire documents as suggested again, thought I had it taken care of and then the trial message popped up again. I cannot release my upgrade to production until i can be sure this is taken care of. What else can I do here???
