Timeframe to Load Grid

I just have a simple question

How much time does it take to load a Grid of 2000 rows

RadGrid can display 2000 records very fast - to illustrate you this I've made for you small demo (attached).

When i load just 8 records that's the time which is not good I have TabStrip and Radgrid Control in the page

'Total records: 8, Total time: 12015 ms'

I am not using Datasource i am using NeedDatatsource

Do you know why its doing that

I tried to use regular ASp.Net GRid
And the time it took is a little less
'Total records: 8, Total time: 9515 ms');

Do you think i have to change some things in RadGrid

I am not sure of why its taking so long for the grid to load a few records but you can go through the following help link on performance optimization and let me know if it helps.
