Pretty much the title. Trying to decide whether or not to stick with Telerik or move to the new AJAX Control Toolkit.

Hi Kirito,

I converted your forum thread to a General Inquiry ticket since I want to learn more about your project, the problems you want to resolve and your future plans for development.

The AJAX Controls Toolkit is a relatively basic suite of free components with limited support and not so slick appearance, while the Telerik ASP.NET AJAX controls is a pretty mature suite with more than 120 UI components. We continue to develop and enhance the Telerik suite and because of this it fully supports the latest browsers, it is secure, offers more than 21 skins plus a Theme builder for easy customization and generation of new themes, plus it is also very stable.

If your plans are to modernize the application, you can also evaluate our Telerik UI for ASP.NET MVC and Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core suites. You can also check our review blog post on the topic: Review of Telerik Toolsets for ASP.NET Web Forms and Core and the whitepaper comparing the AJAX and Core technology.

Please let me know if you have any questions. I will be glad to assist you!

Best Regards,
Rumen
