We have noticed a small bug when AutoCompleteBox and RadFormDecorator are used in the same page, see screenshot
The input of the AutoCompleteBox has a border (with the metro skin)

Hello, Raphael.
I greatly apologize for the delay in answer.
The textbox part of the autocomplete should not look like that at all. That's either a bug or there is additional styling on the page for inputs, that overrides ours.
By any chance, do you have RadFormDecorator or another styling framework on the page?
If not, would it be possible for you to isolate the problem to a single page that always produces the issue and attach it to this ticket?
For this report, and the great delay in answer, I am awarding you some Telerik points which you can see updated in your account profile.
In addition, we would really appreciate any feedback on the autocompletebox experience you may have. As you know, that's our youngest control so we may have missed something about the process and experience.

yes, it's the RadFormDecorator that causes the issue. As soon as I disable it, the AutoCompleteBox looks fine.
thanks for the points ;)

Hi, Rahael.
Thank you for the feedback. We'll work to improve the Autocomplete to play nice with the RadFormDecorator for the official 2012 Q3 release.

Hi,
We have the same problem. Is there a quick fix? Waiting till 2012Q3 is quite long...
Thanks,
Martin

Hello, Martin.
You do have the option to restrict the RadFormDecorator to a portion of the page, instead of the entire page using decoration zones as shown on this example -- http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/formdecorator/examples/decorationzoneid/defaultcs.aspx.
Of course, in the event that you have a mixed form it might not be possible to separate zones.
For now our current release date for those fixes is the official Q3 release. We'll see if we can squeeze anything for the SP2 release, yet I can not promise that we'll be able to allocate the needed resources to do so.

Hi,
if i add FormDecorator for a page the controls looks fine, but if i add RadAutoCompleteBox in the form the decorator applies for all controls except for button. i have attached screenshots
after adding RadAutoCompleteBox inside RadPageView, RadDatePicker is not working. Please check the image after_autocomplete_err1.png
Thanks,
Harish P

Hello, Harish.
That sounds like a different issue. Could you open a separate support thread and post the information there?
