I have a small problem with telerik grid.
i am using Hierarchical grid i.e. grid in grid functionality, where i can edit the grid items.
now i am checking some validation functionality from backend i.e. from C# coding now if some validation goes wrong i will throw some error message which get displayed at top of grid bu t fortunalty entire gridd gets collapsed,if it is in edit mode .i.e.if user ihas entered some data in textbooxes all get collapsed . he has to redo all the data entery activites again

Is there any way to stop grid from collapsing back and keeping all fields as it is in text boxes?

Here is codelibrary submission which explains how to retain expanded/selected state in a hierarchical Grid on rebind. Go through it and see whether it helps.
