Standalone Progress Bar

Has any thought been given towards making a standalone progress bar component (as opposed to using the integrated one which comes with RadUpload). While it is certainly possible to measure custom progress using rad upload, it seems like using the upload component to do so (in cases where files are not being uploaded) is not particularly straightforward, particularly since some of the nomenclature (for things like the ProgressIndicators property) is specific to file uploads. I would think a standalone templated control, which in turn can be used in conjunction with Rad Upload (much like RadSpell and RadEditor) would be a better framework going forward. Just my 2 cents.
