We are trialing this control at the moment with a view to buying, however this bug is the ony thing stopping us.

We have a web page with 3 RadEditor controls one the page, when we use the spell checker control in RadEditor the popup always appears at the very bottom of the page, no where near the control.

I have raised this as a bug with an screen dump, the ticket number is 170831

Thanks,

Hi Justin,

The RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX are designed to work in XHTML compliant pages and there might be some visual glitches when no doctype is present on the page like in your case. Our suggestion is to put the following doctype definition at the top of your MOSS pages:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.1//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml11/DTD/xhtml11.dtd">

and this should fix the spell popup problem.

In the attached screenshot to your ticket I also noticed a javascript error, but you have not send its message and I am not sure whether it is generated by our controls or not.

Perfect, just the trick!

The JS error is related to another control.

Thanks
