[Solved] Skins in Prometheus Rad Editor Control

I have upgraded the basic Rad Editor control to Prometheus Rad Editor control on my page. But the skins are not applied properly for the upgraded Editor(prometheus) on my page.

Whether skins in basic Rad Editor control is same as skins in Prometheus Rad Editor control?. Or do we want to replace it with new skins? If so where i can get those skins?

Hi Reethish,

The new RadEditor "Prometheus" has a new toolbar structure and rendering and it uses a new skin. The skins are embedded in the Telerik.Web.UI.dll and you can see them in the following live example: Skinning.

You can find more information about the skins in the RadControls 'Prometheus' Fundamentals  -> Controlling Visual Appearance section in the RadControls "Prometheus" help.

    Thanks for the reply. I do checked with the Skin names which is mentioned in the said link. But only few skins are getting applied.

Here is the complete list of embedded skins in the latest version 2007.3 1314 of RadControls "Prometheus"

1. Default
2. Telerik
3. Vista
4. Web20
5. WebBlue
6. Outlook
7. Office2007
8. Mac
9. Inox
10. Default2006
11. Black
    
    

You should make sure that you are not setting different skin name and that you are not using an older version of Telerik.Web.UI.dll file.
