Ok, today I upgraded to version Q1 2009 and my skins are not working.  It was a custom version of the sunset skin you created.  What is the easiest way to get my skin back?  Also, where are your skins for the MENU and RADGRIDS????  so I can seen the new look and if I have to then use one of your defualt skins.

P.S. This is totally uncool!

Hello Mike,

First, I would like to direct you to the following online resources which elaborate on the changes we made in the embedded skins of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX:

http://blogs.telerik.com/tervelpeykov/posts/09-03-20/Using_pre-Q1_2009_skins_with_Q1_2009.aspx

http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/aspnet-ajax/general-discussions/all-radcontrols-q3-2008-skins-are-now-compatible-with-the-q1-2009-release.aspx

If you use a custom version of the previous Sunset skin for RadGrid and need assistance in modifying it to work with the Q1 2009 release, I suggest you attach the relevant files to a regular support ticket and we will gladly help you out during the conversion process.

Best regards,

I approve... what a surprise this morning when I upgraded to Q1 2009 and our custom version of the "gray" skin is not working.  We'll lose some precious days to make it work again.

Hello Dani,

As mentioned, we are ready to provide assistance for all developers that have troubles making their custom skins work with Q1 2009, so feel free to contact us via a support ticket.

Accept our apologies for the inconvenience. We are sure that the changes we made to our controls' skinning will turn out a good move in the long run. This has already been suggested by the positive feedback on the controls' new look that we have received. Indeed, it's a pitty that all the changes required to be breaking ones for existing applications.

Best wishes,
Dimo
