[Solved] Showing Error in Radscheduler recurrence

Hi,

We are using RadControl scheduler from the version Asp.net Q1 2008.

Here I have two questions.

Scenario 1:   

1. Select Start date as 06/09/2008.
2. Select the recurring appointment.
3. Select Daily and every week day.
4. Enter End by this date as 06/25/2008.

We should expect selected dates of every weekday from 06/09/2008 To 06/25/2008. But its considering 06/26/2008 as selected date.

Why it would be happening like this.

Scenario 2:

 1. Select start Date as 06/09/2008.

2. Select Daily Recursive and select every X days.

If we dont provide X days in the textbox we are getting an error.

[I mean empty Textbox].

I have tried these two scenarios in telerik demos

Its reproducing in demos too.

Would that be happen in this version only?

Would that be happen in Download Trail versions Only?

Please update me on this ASAP.

Hello Rama,

The second issue is caused by the empty "Every X day(s) field" - it is parsed on the server but since it does not have a value an exception is thrown.

Generally, that should not be the case, since this field is required. To workaround this in your project you could simply hook to the AppointmentCommand event and validate the controls in the Template. What is more, you could show an error message.

Finally, you could always use a Custom Advanced Edit/Insert Template to implement your custom logic.
