Hello,
we're having an issue with RadGrid object on sharepoint 2010 service pack 1environment. When we press the button to perform the update we find a javascript error that does not allow changing the value.
In our development environment we have resolved installing sharepoint service pack 2.
In our production environment  we can’t install the service pack 2. Actually we have installed the devcraft ultimate product (Version=2014.1.403.35).
Do you know if this bug is fixed in later versions or do you have a workaround in order to resolve this issue?

Best Regards,

Giulio

Hello,

So far we have not identified any issues in the RadGrid related to the service pack version of the Sharepoint environment.
If you provide some more details on the error (full exception, stack trace etc.), the grid's markup and code-behind configuration and the exact steps when it happens we can try to provide additional suggestions for troubleshooting.
Either way the grid should support any version of Sharepoint 2010 including Service Pack 1 and 2. It seems like the issue may be more related to some differences in the setup of the development and production environment.

Hi Marin,

we have a javascript error "Uncaught Sys.ArgumentUndefinedException: Sys.ArgumentUndefinedException: Value cannot be undefined.Parameter name: type" when we press update button as you can see in attachment. This error disappear on environments which have sharepoint 2010 service pack 2(we have found the solution on your forum).Do you know any workaround to solve this issue?

Hi,

Are you building a custom web part using the Telerik controls or just deploying an application page? Also do you use ajax in in your project and how it is configured. If you can share the markup and code behind for the problematic page or web part we can check the setup there and suggest workarounds.

Kind Regards,
