Hi,
I have a radgrid (2008.1.619.20) with the self-hierarchy. I used it to display the messages and replies of a forum.
Is this possible to do this with the radgrid ?

I have a radgrid (2008.1.619.20) with the self-hierarchy. I used it to display the messages and replies of a forum.
I want to sort messages by date, the parents being sorted by date descending and the replies by date ascending.
Is this possible to do this with the radgrid ?

Hi Simon,
One possible implementation in this case would be to add the sort expressions programmatically, for each table (be it master table, or detail nested table). How to iterate through the self-referencing hierarchy, you can learn from the following article. I hope this helps.
