Self Hierarchy not working

Hi,

I am using same datatable to show self hierarchy as shown in this example http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/grdselfreferencinghierarchy.html
but the records are not shown in parent-child manner.

But when I set allowcustompaging property to false it works fine.

Please let me know why its happening. What am i doing wrong?

Have you watched the online demo as well? Also you should have id/parentid set for the records to build the hierarchy. I found this useful KB about how to align the levels:
