I am not able to get the select value when settting for new appointment while your demo is able to do so. How should i go about it? Thanks

Would you please link the demo, whose functionality you are trying to implement because it is not very clear from the post?

Otherwise, did you try to isolate the demo with the "demo Isolation steps" as shown in the attached screenshot?

i am so sorry if i my post is not clear.

i did followed the demo Isolation steps but it didn't help.

Based on the demo that you have
http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/scheduler/examples/resourcegrouping/defaultcs.aspx
you would notice that when i double click to create a new appointment for Margaret Morrison Main Room and when i click on option button, it would show the selected value of Margaret Morrison Main Room in the dropdown list

But for my case, when i create a new appointment for Kent John, i would have to select from the dropdown list and then select a value in this case Kent John from the dropdown list.

Is there a way i could accomplish what you did for http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/scheduler/examples/resourcegrouping/defaultcs.aspx
