Hi,

is it possible to add a section for FileExplorer in the Code Library?
Instead of implementing my "auto backup" feature (discussed in other threads here) in the customers project I will do it in an isolated standalone project.

Since I think some of the features could be helpful to other Telerik customers I'm willing to share the thing at the Code Library.
BUT - at the moment there is no section for the FileExplorer.

If it is not possible (why ever) to add such a section - shall I place this in the "General and Integration projects"  instead?

Regards

Manfred

Hi Manfred,

Thank you for bringing this problem to our attention - your points were updated.
The section is available now:

Thank you,

two question is open about Code Library (I know it is OT here).
In the rules you say "the project must (should?)
...bin folder with the trial versions of the used Telerik controls;

Where do I get these versions?
And is my idea (see below) also OK?
Idea: include a download link in the project comment to your trial versions.
Something like: ....to build this software you need to have the telerik... you can download a trial version at....

Hi Manfred,

You can download them from your Client.Net account, section Your Products / Free Trials / RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX
To avoid downloading the full suite, I suggest to click on  Older Versions and to download the Dll and scripts only archive.

As for your idea, I will send it to our webteam for future consideration. Thank you for your involvement :)

Hi,

I will hopefully tomorrow (or let's say today - it's 4am here in Austria) include the trial version of the dll.
All left open is to make a last review - pack the thing and post it in the newly created section.

Meanwhile I blogged about the thing - and I guess I'll use this blog as "documentation" about the thing.
This means I'll link to the blog entry from the code library.

The reasons why I decided to blog were that
a.) I can blog offline (make corrections - redesign and so on)
b.) I didn't want to spam the code library with 10 pages of "bad english"
c.) Maybe also "not telerik customers" are interested in this thing :)

So for the curious people - http://manni-at.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!82CF2A6C0D0C6F3C!133.entry?&_c02_vws=1
