Hi

Currently using radeditor on SharePoint 2007. Using IE 8 on compatibility mode  we encountered a problem where the scroll bar resets to the top when the mouse hover outside the text box area. This is only occurring in IE8 Compatibility View.

As our text area are small(news column size) and contain  a large amount of text, resetting the scroll bar is proving to be annoying

Is this expected behavior,? if so can this be disabled

Cheers

Hello Mvga,

Could you confirm which version of RadEditor for MOSS are you using? Also are you using the control in list scenario? Once I get this information I will be able to test the issue on our side and advise you further.

Hi Stanimir

Thanks for the reply
I am using 5.8.9 , it was occuring on 5.5.1 as well. I am using it in a sharepoint publishing site,  entering page content.
    <Telerik:RadHtmlField ID="RadHtmlField1" FieldName="PublishingPageContent" runat="server" />
 The webpart is also used. This is occuring in both.

Hi Mvga,

I tested the problem and I was able to reproduce it. Then I found out that it is logged in our bug tracking system. Unfortunately currently there is no known workaround or fix the I can provide you with.

All the best,

Hi Stanimir

Thanks for confirming this. Last question, does the bug tracking system indicate timeframe with regards to when this can be fixed? I understand dates are estimates and are subject to change. I was after a rough guide, (ie can we expect a fix for the next version?)

Cheers
