Hi,
Scheduler shows scroll at the top on page load and takes a while to reset its position.
I have a timer and a scheduler, I scroll to the bottom of the radscheduler but with every refresh, the scroll bar shows at the top for a sec and then it scrolls to the bottom.
How can I make scheduler to show scroll bars by retaining its position on page load? I want to avoid flashing effect on scheduler.
I see the same effect on following demo site, Go to month view and scroll to the bottom, then move an appointment, on post back you see the flashing effect of scrollbar, is it a software bug?

Thanks,
Prava

Hello Prava,
I did not manage to reproduce the problem you are experiencing. In order to see the behavior of the RadScheduler at the demo you have specified, at our end, please click at the following link: RadScheduler; Customization: Month View.
It could also depend on the browser you are using. Could you please share what browser do you use?
If you are still having troubles, could you please send us a support ticket with a sample project of the issue?
Kind regards,
Ivana

Hi Ivana,
I am using fire fox browser, I still see the effect on your demosite. Here is how you see this bug;
ON http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/scheduler/examples/customization/defaultcs.aspx
Step1
Go to month view (leave all settings as it is)
Step2
Scroll to bottom of month view (current month is March 2007 in demo)
step 3
Move an appointment called "Meeting with Alex" scheduled on 31 of Aug 2007 to 11th of August or move any other appointment
The scheduler shows loading panel, and scheduler loads with scrollbar at the top then after a brief sec, it scrolls to the bottom.
I do not see this bug on Internet explorer, I see this only on firefox browser.
Thanks,
Prava

Hi Prava,
The video I've sent you in the previous message was made in Firefox 6, and everything works as expected there.
Which version of Firefox are you using?

Hi Prava Kafle,
I have tested the online demo in the specified version of Firefox, and managed to detect the behavior in question of the RadScheduler.
I have also tested the RadScheduler in later versions of Firefox, but could not see the same behavior.
It seems like a browser version specific issue, since it is only in one version of Firefox.
Best wishes,
Ivana

Hi,
I no longer see scroll bar position persistence issue on the link mentioned above but I am still having scroll issue on my scheduler. Can you tell me what fix do I need to persist scroll position on Radscheduler. I am using chrome browser to test telerik demo site and my application.
Thanks,
Prava

Hello Prava Kafle,
I would like to ask you to submit a support ticket and attached a runnable sample, demonstrating the implementation of the RadScheduler at your end and the experienced problematic behavior. In addition, please specify the version of our controls that you are currently using.
