Indeed, RadScheduler has only date, week and month views. If there is an increased demand for any other views such as the ones you suggested, we will consider implementing this extra feature.

I would also like to see a quarter selection in the timeline view! it should be 4 slots (as default) with q1, q2, q3, q4 as headings and maybe the dates in parenthesis, like: Q1 (2009-01-01 - 2009-03-31)
But maybe this is possible already? To group in 4 slots and set the headings like I described.

I have increased the priority of this feature but it is still up to our developers to decide what to do.
Thanks for your involvement.

Currently, this is not possible because the number of days for a given month varies. If you try the following settings you will see what shortcomings arise because of the above reason:
<TimelineView NumberOfSlots="4" SlotDuration="90" ColumnHeaderDateFormat="M" />
We are sorry for this limitation of RadScheduler.
All the best,

Thank you for the information. However, it is critical for us to implement this functionality by next week. Can we customize it via API or source code? Will it make a difference if we put the start date and end date values as quarters when we configure the data source? Thank you again for any help you can provide.
I am afraid, there isn't a workaround either to achieve this requirement. Start and End values will affect the appointments' duration, but not how RadScheduler is rendered. We are sorry for this limitation and we will do our best to improve RadScheduler in the near future.

Thank you for your interest. Unfortunately, RadScheduler doesn't support a quarter view. Currently, this feature is not in our immediate to-do list, but we will consider it nevertheless.

Thank you for your feedback.
We don't plan implementing year view in RadScheduler for ASP.NET AJAX for the moment. Here you may find a public item related to this feature request so you can vote and track its progress.

The Year view has been implemented: https://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/scheduler/examples/yearview/defaultcs.aspx.
For a quarter view perhaps you can add three schedulers next to each other and set their data to include the desired month only.
An alternative could be to use a calendar with multi-month rendering (https://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/calendar/functionality/multimonthview/defaultcs.aspx) with custom rendering for certain days to denote that there are appointments or even the number of appointments (https://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/calendar/server-side-programming/customdaycellrendering/defaultcs.aspx). An alternative to the DayRender event is to add special days: https://docs.telerik.com/devtools/aspnet-ajax/controls/calendar/design-time/radcalendarday-collection-editor.

Hi Marin,
I have seen the Year view that has been implemented which is a good start but I really need other Scheduler views to be extended to include longer date ranges too.
For example, the month view (https://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/scheduler/examples/month-view/defaultcs.aspx) to scroll vertically beyond one month.
Also, the timeline view (https://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/scheduler/examples/timelineview/defaultcs.aspx) to scroll horizontally, preferably to an infinite range.
I know there is the option of displaying multiple instances of the scheduler control but I feel like that is a very messy way of dealing with it.
The addition of a 'year planner' type view would also be very useful, whether in the Calendar control or the Scheduler.
You can use the timeline view, set columns widths and a large width for the view to get the most horizontal scrolling. Just keep in mind that the total width is limited by the pixel unit from .NET.
If you would like other behavior (like virtualization/infinite scrolling), I'd encourage you to post your idea in our feedback portal (https://feedback.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax?listMode=Recent&categoryId=578) with a detailed description of the expected behavior and the API that will control it. At the moment infinite scrolling/virtualization is not available in the scheduler and there isn't an easy way to work around that, as this is a very complex feature. Perhaps the Kendo Scheduler timeline that can be horizontal may be a better fit for your (https://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/scheduler/timeline) but it does not have virtualization/infinite scrolling either.
