I know the best exmpale of using a popup in advanced edit mode is using a radedit window

http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/scheduler/examples/raddock/defaultcs.aspx

My question is i want to keep all the functionality that the inline advanced edit has with Recurring Tasks. All that i'd like to do is just display the advanced edit in a popup window but keep all the functionality of the inline advanced edit.

Hi Robert Strazzarino,

Thank you for your question. I am glad to inform you that we will make the advanced form show as a modal popup window for Q2 2009.

Although worarounds are possible meanwhile, I would not recommend you use them since the solution could be not very neat. For example, you could have a hidden scheduler which you open in advanced edit mode in new window. This is similar to the RadDock example which you have seen, but you need to place another instance of RadScheduler in the content template of RadDock and bind it to the same data source as the original RadScheduler.

All the best,

This is good news. If there is any chance I can get my hands on this earlier than Q2 it would be appreciated, I'm having to implement this in a current project that has a tight deadline. Non business critical and very accepting of beta versions, this would be great.

Thanks
Clyde
