Save Sort and Column Settings

I have a request from my users to have the following:
Grouping
Column re-ordering
Multiple sorting

Your control handles all of these which has me leaning towards purchasing it.  I have been able to get a demo for them next week.  However, one of their sticking points is they want their users to save their grouping, column and sorting settings.  They don't want to change it everytime they come to the grid.

Is there a way we can store this for the user so when they return the grid is presented the way they like it?

I took this example and instead of storing the settings in the database, I just stored the settings in a cookie.
