Hi Airedale,
Could you please clarify what exactly do you mean with "strange things are happening" under Safari and can you reproduce the issue using the online skinning demo.
In addition to this please open a support ticket and send us a couple of screenshots of the problem.

My apologies George for the rather lame problem description.
What was happening was I have a page that has a RadSplitter control with a RadSlidingPane on the left side of the page and when I introduced a RadToolTipManager which I added to display the default controls tooltips with skin support etc, the sliding pane tab text when viewed using Safari was displayed horizontally for the first three characters and the fly-out action was inactive.
Please disregard this post as I seemed to be getting variable results under Safari when I added and removed various combinations of controls.
