i looked at the different skins for dock objects, the Mac skin and the telerik skin seem to have a rounded corners, however they seem to work only when the background color is set accordingly with the corresponding solid color.

i have a situation where my background is a not a solid color but a gradient image. i am cutting the corners for left and right as transparent images, however the transperant area is being filled up by the backcolor of the dock.

please advise if this is acheivable with prometheus controls.

Hi Tanuj,

The current rendering of RadDock Prometheus does not allow such kind of skinning. However, we are developing new html rendering for it, that will allow rounded corners and it will be released with Q1.2008.

For this question, has this been done, and is this what the classes rdTopLeft, rdTopRight, rdTopCenter, etc. are for?  and if so (and if not, too) can the documentation at http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/dock_appearancecssselectors.html be updated to include the purpose of these additional css classes?

Now related to this,I am looking to create a title bar that has rounded corners.  I know I can do this with the title TitlebarTemplate, but I'd like to do this just with a skin.

Is this possible/coming?

Thank you.

Hi Barry,

You can achieve rounded corners layout with these new classes. In order to use them, you need to set the resizable property of RadDock to true. Otherwise the surrounding html with these classes will not be generated. With this additional html you have all necessary elements to add rounded corners to your dock objects.
