Hi,
we find problems at the moment working with reusable content.
In short: we don't get it working. Every change I make to the original document doesn't affect the places in the site wherever I make use of this document by using the reusable content webpart.

I'm not sure which version of the rad-editor we are using at the moment, but certainly not the latest one.

Hello Chrit,

Make sure that you are using the latest version of RadEditor for MOSS, which now is 5.8.10. If you are not using this version I suggest you to delay the upgrade for the end of the week. This week we will release 2011.Q2 service pack 1 of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX. There will be included some fixes regarding the ImageEditor dialog in it. So wait till the end of the week and upgrade to the latest version of RadEditor for MOSS.

Ok Stanimir, thank you so far.
Next question we have: which rad-editor product (ultimate collection , premium collection, ... > I don't know if there are even more versions?! )  do we need in order to get the reusable content webpart working?

Hi Chrit,

Could you confirm that you are trying to use the reusable content's auto-update functionality in RadEditor WebPart? If this is the case you should know that the auto update functionality is available only in WCM scenario (Using RadEditor in Web Content Management scenario). In WebPart scenario you can use reusable content only as a template.

Regarding the product. RadControls for SharePoint (MOSS and 2010) come as a part of the RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX package. So if your package (ultimate collection , premium collection ...) includes RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX, it includes the SharePoint products as well.
