I need to customize the resource header in timelineview (add tooltips to the resource text) but this is being ignored in timeline veiw, which is suprising given that i didnt find any documentation saying this is a non timeline view feature.

Please, refer to the attached test sample for version 2008.3.1125, which shows that everything works as expected. If the problem persists at your side, I suggest you open a support ticket and send us a small demo project.

simply take the example u attached and change to vertical direction and the template is being completely ignored.

The current official version (2008.3.1314) should have this problem resolved.
