I want topics... held together like a n/g reader/ forum reader.... with + signs to expand.
Sounds like its perfect for the Teeview, doesn't it?
But I also want a tabular display, with columns for the Subject (with Tree attribute) and for Sender and for Date/Time
And the messages (data) will all be data-bound
Have a look at Outlook Express - not the email part, the News part. - or like in this shot: http://203.110.155.14/image1.png
My problem: I cannot create a Treeview template that will allow this.. as soon as I try to insert the html table, the subordinate tree rows are offset by the whole width of the table!
Any ideas/hints?

Hi Steve Bywaters,
Implementing this with RadTreeView is possible but would require some CSS tricks in order to make it work. I recommend you check RadGrid's self referencing hierarchy demo instead.
