Hi,

I seem to remember receiving a reporting beta email a while ago where I could download the beta. Can anyone tell me where this was?

Thanks!

Will telerik Reporting have a keep together feature for groups?  Access has this, but SQL Reporting Services does not.  SQL RS has a page break before or after a group.  However, it would apply a page break before the group on the first group, or it would apply a page break after the group on the last group ... kind of odd because it gives empty pages.  I hope that telerik Reporting will act like Access and have a keep together ability.  And if it has page break before or after it won't apply the break on the first or last group.

a list of things i would like to have in the new reporting tool

1. full Right-To-Left support (i.e. if i set the RightToLeft property to true then it renders correctly to various targets)
2. ability to import Crystal Reports rpt files

Will this reporting tool have a Print Control that is similar to the ActiveX control that Crystall uses?  The reason I ask is that the common downside I have seen to web reporting is the print mechanism.  Most of my customers like to actually have the Print dialog open when they click on the "Print" button, not just open a printable version or export to pdf to be printed.  This is one of the benefits of Crystal's product is having a print control - even if it is ActiveX.

Will the "Out-of-the-box export" capabilities extend into other telerik controls like RadEditor?  For example, we have many user input forms where the user is uploading images into RadEditor and RadEditor is displaying it.  We generate an accompanying print page, but are having trouble making the leap to get the document into Word or PDF.  Will this be something where we will have to convert the existing .aspx print page report into the telerik reporting?  Or will this exporting feature work on the current page we have generated?  Hope that is not too confusing.

Thanks in advance.

A few things I would like to see are:
1) Cross Tab  - This is huge, people have been requesting this from Active Reports for a long time.
2) Expandable lines - Sounds minor, but crystal has it, AR doesn't, and it makes creating grids in AR a pain.
3) Caching report creation to disk - This is critical for large reports, AR has killed many asp.net processes because it was putting the whole report in memory before it saved it to disk.
4) Alignment helpers in the designer, like in vs2005 winform designer.  When I move a control, a helper will show a line and snap it to a control in the vicinity.
5) Zoom in the designer

Thanks!

Just curious whether version 1.0 of the telerik Reporting will have charting capabilities in one form or another?

I am currently using ActiveReports, and although their solution's charting is weak and buggy, I still use it and depend on it.  So, in order to switch to a new reporting solution, I would need rudimentary bar and pie chart capabilities.

Hi,

This reporting controls is exciting new component. We want to use it in our web apps, but before this I just want to enquire if it wud support all versions for .net framework. Because few of our web apps was being developed in .NET1 and rest in .NET2

Thanks
