Rendering and creation errors

Hi,
I have received the source code of my website from a developer but when I try to open a page in Visual Studio 2012, I get errors all over:
failed to create designer, rendering problems and so on. More details are in the attached picture.
I have added references to telerik.web.design and telerik.web.ui as wel as telerik.web.ui.skins in the project but still I am not coming right.
I can I solve this problem?

Hello,

Due to version/license issue, you are not able to design of this control. Uninstall all un-necessory version from your system.

Using upgrade wizard please update your web site/application.

thanks for your reply. I tried the wizard as per your suggestion but without success.
Why do you say that there are versions/license issues related to the problem?

I am on VS 2012 and last version of ASP Ajax Telerik controls.
I should be able to open older version of code. Shouldn't I?

Version Issue:

1>
1. You have install telerik version 2012 in your system and also add this control into toolbox. Add this DLL into your project. By using this way you can able to see design view.

2. Now you have install the Telerik version 2013 in your system. Added this DLL version in your project. By using this way you can not able to see design view. DLL added in toolbox and in project.

Sometimes due to GAC it will create this issue.

Solutions:
1.

-> Uninstall both the version from your system
-> Remove the Telerik controls from toolbox
-> Restart your system
-> install the latest version
-> using configuration wizard add Latest DLL version in your project.
-> check Design view

thanks for all your supporting answers.
I tried but without success. Looks like the newer version is not able to create the control of the old one.
I gave up on this problem. I have asked the original developer to update it from his side and send me back a new version of the solution.
